@mspaint93 not discrimination in education per se, but western monitoring for any signs of allegiance to their ancestral homeland. it would be dumb for any western host country to sideline ethnic chinese given their relatively outsized contribution to research, skills and the economy. any chinese that lands on your shores legally are already pre-selected at the immigration level. check the requirements - money, education or special skills - all designed to filter out the undesirable ones.

@markson9800 what the mainland did is to integrate in a common language and culture so everyone doesnt stick to their race. many have adopted similar if not the exact same measures including western countries. but the west call this at first genocide before expanding the category to cultural. it would have been easier to achieve that using hitler's way and save a lot of money investing to urbanise the regions. just round the minorities up and sell their land & gold teeth to fund bigger gas chambers. right ??
