@COYS-o2i the lancet journal puts china's excess death for 20-21 at 18k compared to america's 1,130k for the same period. if a respected peer-reviewed journal meant nothing these days, what is? or people just want to comfort yourself hiding behind the 'fake data' excuse. draconian measures with obedience have its merits.

@hillerm how many lockdowns shanghai had since 2020 and how long each last?

@hillerm jakarta had like 3 months of strict lockdown but not as extreme as shanghai. essential industries are still allowed to operate and people can still go out to buy groceries. there is a sharp contrast between the poor behaving like nothing happened while the rich hang on to dear lives.
