@Wildzide00 To be clear, her window was not surrounded by other high rise buildings, so a sniper shot would be difficult at best. Also, they would have sensed if Padme was directly in danger too which is why it slipped in the bugs so they could hopefully get close enough before killing Padme. Unfortunately, the Jedi were quicker than that. And the glass was probably blaster proof too, which is why it needed to laser through it at point blank range. Also Jango Fett was purposefully leading the Jedi to Kamino, that's why he used an easily identified dart and went right to the planet, then immediately to Geonosis after. Dooku and Sidious needed the Jedi to discover both armies, after all.
