The thing about the Fourth Crusade is that it wasn't a sanctioned crusade by the time it arrived at the Byzantine Empire. They'd been condemned by the Papacy before that point.

Islam Licht TL;DR Get out of here, you Islamist idiot.

Of course. Civilian technology took leaps and bounds because of the Great War and WW2.
13
Islam Licht It looks like one thing you need to learn is to not be a fool. Although you can't cure stupid, so it's rather pointless to try.

@RealCrusadesHistory It didn't insist that Christians were all evil, as shown by characters like Baldwin IV, the Hospitaller, Tiberius, etc

+Bealio They're putting it out there that not just Christian people who approve of the Crusades watch this channel, thus informing the channel owner that they are producing good, non-bias content.

@rachelmiller9280 You clearly have no idea what you're talking about and are throwing out vague nonsense about human conflict throughout history, lol.

@GNik 7 It doesn't change that they killed 60,000 people in Constantinople in a horrifically massive pogrom primarily because Latins controlled financial interests in the city and there was massive corruption in the system, not because of Thesaloniki. It was oddly similar to what happened to Jews all over. And the would be usurper Emperor whipped it up and let it keep going just so he could get rid of the Latin born and aligned Empress.

Omar Torres Wow, really? You're ridiculous mate. You're just as bad as radical Muslims what with saying how you'd "show no mercy" to atheists. At least atheists aren't killing anyone who disagrees with them constantly. They may be militant at times, which I don't support, but they never actually put action behind their words.

Syphon Filter Precisely, lol. They'd probably just carry on with whatever wars were fought after.

@piercebrosnan9528 Or, for that matter, if Barbarossa had not died before arriving and his army not disbanded.

+A Canovas "which held the best of the Iberian wealth and culture with facilities for its citizens that would take centuries to get to central European countries" Incorrect.

+42OuncesofPAIN The Bible is no longer about the Law after the arrival of Jesus Christ.

What are you talking about? Everyone talks about Saladin.

MrKilroi In Feudal Japan after it was united, that is. Before that point, many Ashigaru had weapons and in fact could gain great fortune and climb the societal ladder.
