  1. These are the same Vikings who slaughtered unarmed monks, enslaved Christian , tortured and killed priests and monks right? It was brave monks going two by two into incredibly dangerous territory who converted the Germanic people. It was power hungry chieftains who sought to use Christianity as a means of control.
