  1. It's a nice idea in concept, but i can only see it working for straight forward, back, left or right. If you walk in any other direction, the strips would want to be moving at different speeds under your feet, but that would be resisted by the strips being pinched together under your feet, the stopping inertia is a big problem also. It's probably the coolest attempt I've seen so far at a multi directional treadmill I've seen so far though.
