  1. It is bad news when it's the closest shop and everything else is closed; let's not de-value it for those it does effect. I di agree with you though, in that a goid way to fight this, is to shop elsewhere if you can; as the only thing these companies really listen to, is the money.

  2. It should be all out illegal to not accept cash; currency is currency. What happened to 'legal tender'? Like you say; putting obstacles in front of potential customers doesn't seem like smart way of thinking to me.
