@An..O7070 Most people in Northern Ireland want to be British and part of Britain, unlike Ukranians, whp want nothing to do with Russia, and frankly i don't blsme them.. that's the big difference. Regardless if it's 'strategic importance' he could still simply withdraw and 'resolve' this war at any time; ge just chooses not to. He can't just take a country because he wants it, certainly not without a lot of blood being spilled, which it is. What great and noble country are you a citizen of and live in by the way?

FFS.. Also, the reason you are still in power and not Johnson, ois because there is democracy in the UK, while you are a dictator. No YOU need to leave Ukraine alone, and what are you going to do about me condemning Russias unforgivable actions? Russia can't do a damn thing they're having issues just taking Ukraine; it's Russias forces are a shambles, and they've depleted most of their already useless tanks, and you're having to build missiles out of washing machine parts; what an embarrassment..

@Usermoped China is pretty much all about it's trade, it's it's lifeblood. Do you think strong sanctions from the UK would hurt China, with that in mind? Also, sanctions are often coordinated and agreed between multiple countries, not just one.

@dupreemottley7320 China relies on it's trade more than anything; and trade sanctions would hurt them greatly, especially if multiple countries did it together, which is normally the way with sanctions.

@dupreemottley7320 It does work both ways, but i dare say we couldn't find an alternative, such as India. Also, many countrirs sanctioning China, would hurt China worse than any one country doing the sanctioning.

@SovCitRampage I think you're reading a lot into what they said, and China relies on it's trade, and they would certainly feel a loss of trade from the UK, though sanctions usually come from multiple countries. What country are you a citizen of? What country are you currently living in?

@MartinCollier-w5v I think surprisingly little 'on their shelves' is actually from China. And if you think China wouldn't hurt from a lack of UK trade, you'd be wrong, but countries rarely do sanctions without other countries doing the same, as it makes them more effective with done in conjunction with other nations.

@Usermoped Russia hasn't, it's economy and inflation are extremely poor. Also, why are you sticking up for China?.. they don't care about pollution of human rights; they influcted a pandemic on the world; their democracy isca hoke, and the fact they are friends with Russia and Putin says it all..
