  2.  @allydea  even the russians clearly expected Kyiv to fall in a few days. The first russian troops rolling over the border were not equipped for a long battle.

  7. 4-5 years is probably right, but i seriously doubt that russia will take more territory. The question is if russia will hold on to some of the territory they control now.

  9. i think a lot of leaders in the west are worried about a russian collapse. And a civil war in a nuclear armed country does sound kinda scary. I think NATO's goal is to slowly squeeze Russia until they are forced to withdraw.
