  1. i don't see a lot of difference between China, russia and the US these days. And Europe is not dependent on either for it's existence, but it is nice to have a market to sell our goods. So if China can offer a better deal for that, then i see no reason to not take it.

  4.  @mikeluc9916  that might have been true in the past, but US security is no longer credible. Which is why the EU is now preparing for a conflict with russia as soon as the war in Ukraine is over.

  5. that is very unlikely, unless russia lose the war in Ukraine. Russia is still the largest threat to peace and stability in Europe. The real question is if China would dump russia for a partnership with the EU, if that option was available.
