  1. i think you are making uranium a bigger deal than it actually is. Niger may be the 7. largest producer, but it is just 4% of global production. The mines in Niger are co-owned by Niger and the french state owned company Orano. But Orano has mines in Canada and Kazakhstan too, plus the rights to start a mine in Usbekistan. The point is, any supply problems created by a conflict in Niger would be short term. Uranium is not really that rare or valuable.
