  1. China is a large market when it comes to population size. But the average citizen has less money than the average European or American. And that is what matters, you can't sell products to people who can't afford them.

  4. Chinese goods are the next russian gas. EU is already way too dependent on China, and it will be used against us eventually. Russia started to flood the European market with gas in 2014, bringing the price down to a point where no one else could compete. Looking back, this was clearly done to create leverage. Let's not make the same mistake with China.
