@harrierr628 russia controlled Donetsk and Luhansk before the real invasion started. Solidar is just a small mining town. Kherson was captured at the start of the invasion, but Ukraine took it back last year. Mariupol was captured more than a year ago. Bakhmut is russia's first victory since Severodonetsk, which is almost a year ago. Guess you're the one living in a cave 😄

Because it was a great place to bleed the russian forces. This will be russia's only win this year, maybe they can take another town next year 😄

@honor6234 that's about a year ago. Russia's last victory was Severodonetsk back in June 2022. And this will probably be russia's only victory this year.

@icekidtvshorts4504 The US had full control of every city in Afghanistan for 20 years, while the Taliban was hiding in caves. The goal was to get bin laden and Al qaeda, and they did. So there was no reason to stay. Russia never had control, took 6x times more casualties than the US did in 20 years, and had to retreat after 9 years as they couldn't afford the war 😄
