Higher oil prices won't just affect Europe.

@whowho4593 average wages are around 30 dollars per hour where i live. We may complain about it, but we can still afford it. If there's a shortage of oil in the global market, it will be the poorest countries who will suffer the most.

@whowho4593 oil is mostly used for transportation. It is very rare to use oil for heating in my country, i don't think it is common in the rest of Europe either.

@umeshsingh-du3pk if an average Dane has to spend an extra 100 dollars per month at the gas station, it's annoying but not a big deal. Can you say the same about an average Indian?

very shortsighted decision. Higher oil prices will make a global recession much more likely. And recession leads to lower demand for oil. Guess these people didn't learn anything in 2020 when the oil price fell to negative 37 dollars, as demand dropped in US and EU due to covid lockdown.
