The gas price fell from 339 euro last friday, to 249 euro today. Since gas storage is almost full all over Europe, there's now less panic on the market. This "maintenance" of nordstream 1 didn't really affect the price.

@brunoonraedt3401 nope, it's going down. Storage is full, and the heating season hasn't started yet. So demand is low at the moment. It might go up later this year, but we'll see.

@madzihove yes i have heard that claim from russian trolls before, but it is not true. Germany's storage would last 10-12 weeks, probably longer with rationing. And the floating LNG terminals should be ready later this year, so Germany should be fine.

@evilmex1962 you really want Germany to suffer don't you 😄i can feel the frustration, it's delicious. Germany won't need much more to stretch supply until spring. And there are other LNG facilities in Europe. The damaged port in the US should be back online in November, which is soon enough.

@nickelbirden yeah i got a lot of comments from people who told me that i would regret my comments when i was freezing in the dark this winter 😄 I'm glad that we were right, and they were wrong. These old comments are pretty funny now, thanks for reminding me.

so many people want to see Europe give up on the sanctions and beg putin for gas. But it's not going to happen, just let it go 😄
