Wind energy covers almost 50% of our electricity consumption here in Denmark. The main reason why it is not more, is a lack of energy storage. But solar and biogas are also working well. Biogas is mostly produced from farm waste. The main reason why i like wind, solar and biogas so much, is because of energy security. I don't really care if it is green or not.

@jmcw9632 absolutely. But the majority of our wind turbines are on land. Many of them are owned by farmers, that place the turbines in the wind breaks between fields. The same goes for solar farms and biogas facilities. They are often owned or co-owned by local farmers.

@velisvideos6208 the point is that wind energy work, even if more energy storage is needed if we want to fully replace fossil fuel. And I think the main argument for renewables is energy security, not co2 emission.
