Kinda po-tei-to, po-tah-to. But, yeah, was a careful move.

@LeoStaley go away. And never come back. In the name of Pythagoras.

@Mathologer I think it is kinda arr0gant, at least dismissive, when any person makes "rigorous observations" about statements of mathematicians from the past. So many people overrate rigor, when actually a lot of Math exists because Euler, Ramanujan and others didn't restrict themselves that much to rigorous thinking.

... not really.

You are a very interesting man.

@devalapar7878 hummmm. You are kinda annoying.

I love Mathologer. But I can't like this video.

Exactly. And now, unfortunately, we live at a time when academic authorities try to prevent students to enjoy mathematics like Euler did, even mocking the ones that dare to do that, because of "lack of rigour". Such awful people.

Boy, what a rare statement. I mean, I can strongly mock your estimation or I can strongly mock your judgement. I don't even know what I should do. They are kinda opposite and they are both annoying. Hahahahaha.

@DontMockMySmock hahahaha. Quickly: man, your estimation has to be updated! Euler is a legend. And, your criteria for "smart" has to improve. It is a very relative concept. I mean, for example, Euler did what he did because the had the tools for it. If he didn't had the tools, what would happen? He would still be intelligent? How would we know? How are you measuring smartness? In the end, I didn't really mock anyone or anything, I guess. Just woke up. Gonna drink some coffee.
1
@DontMockMySmock oh no, did you feel offended?
1
It actually sounds like you are full of s**t.
