  1. The only time i got stopped by police is to check my bike to see if i stole it. LOL As you know bikes need to be registered in Japan, so police can check the registered name/number of the owner. I had this happen a few times in my 7yrs in Japan. I dont know if it was racial profiling or just a random check.
