Almost all of my Japanese friends still enjoy drinking beer and going to Izakaya. Of course, we're in our 30-40s so it's a normal thing for us. When I was in Japan 5yrs or so ago, you'd see many young people drinking. I haven't been there in a few years, so wouldn't see the change for myself. I love the alcohol in Japan, especially chu-hi and other flavored alcohol. Sometimes had beer, mostly when i'm with friends whisky sour for example

@earlysda My friends are probably older and were used to the drinking culture before this started. Drinking used to be for various reasons. Now it seems it's a lot less.
