My gf told me that this message from Chinese Fauci isn't true and that it's fake. Said Chinese people know this is fake news. Wow..another reason why you shouldn't date or marry a Chinese girl. The dude said it...and that's that. I don't know how this impacted the foreigners in China, it hasn't impacted me yet.
