I have asked this many times, how do you know who fired a given weapon ?
48
Lavrov as always is an intelligent and seasoned diplomat who has been dealing with this situation for many years.
29
It was impressive how quickly he shut down her photos with the same argument I have made many times, it is almost impossible to know who fired a missile or artillery round from the explosion.
28
Guantanamo is just the visible version of the CIA black site torture prison archipelago. Prisons in many countries where US "partners" perform the dirty torture work.
25
@mariohanadererste9676 Germany has attacked other European nations in the past. Lets not try to pretend that Germany is innocent.
17
@compphysgeek I think the western leaders either never knew or forgot how to play chess.
10
@markusmuller6173 Stay out of the war in ukraine, not stay out of the comment thread. Are you seriously that impaired ?
7
@markusmuller6173 How to improve the situation: stay out of it.
6
@markusmuller6173 Yes for NATO the best course of action is to stay out of it. It could get so much worse so fast that the west needs to tread lightly and stay the hell out of it.
3
I'm sure those contracts all have an escape clause if any party attempts to manipulate the currency price. The sanctions are clearly currency manipulation.
3
Ukraine should recognize that not all of its citizens want to join europe, many want to join Russia, Ukraine needs to let go of the breakaway republics and settle for peace.
3
His owners/handlers wanted this war to move forward, it is the US strategy to asymmetrically attack Russia without responsibility via NATO and even better via an ex-soviet state. Z went along with it for fame and money.
2
I think if NATO sends peace keepers Russia with shut down all the pipelines to Europe as a first response.
2
@valeriecarlin1524 Like the Ghost of Kyiv, what a joke.
2
This could all be finished quickly if Ukraine allows the breakaway republics their sovereignty, allows those people to decide their own fate and stops killing people who only want to secede.
2
@-Davit- There are already 2 pipelines going through the urals, the new one is intended to go straight to Beijing. Russia also has built up its northern ports and built a fleet of nuclear ice breakers with plans to deliver across the north sea to Chinese ports. They call it the Arctic silk road.
2
An opportunity that many CIA agents have been working hard at for many years. The US CIA has been targeting regime change in Russia for decades and found their access mechanism went through Kyiv.
2
It is sad to see the Chinese extoll the virtues of behaving responsibly in cyberspace while telling the US that they are the scum of the earth.
1
@washerdryer3466 Typical misunderstanding of Russian statements. It is your ignorance not his that is on display.
1
The west has no interest in de-escalation, the pentagon has wanted this war for many years.
1
bloe bidon Well I call out the propaganda lies when I see them, try to make other humans see the lies leading them to war. Most times it doesn't work.
1
@markusmuller6173 I know as much as anyone else regarding the peace summit today. I watched Putins gas decree announcement and heard Lavrov speak after his attendance at the Afghanistan summit in Beijing.
1
@genuz That is actually plausible, I agree the west wants to use ukraine as cannon fodder in its war with Russia. I think the mistake the west makes is that for Putin and Russians the conflict with NATO and the US is an existential threat against the very existence of their nation. I think they take that very seriously and will step up if it comes to that. But I don't think they would nuke Ukraine, that would be stupid and self defeating. They would nuke a major western city if nukes are used in Ukraine.
1
@markusmuller6173 Because nobody in the west can improve the situation. There is nothing NATO, EU or US can do except wait until the military action is complete. If the we go storming into Ukraine like the saviors and heros we will cause a massive escalation that will kill millions.
1
I would say that any fuel contract with any nation that is sanctioning Russia should be cancelled and nullified. Those nations have taken an illegal step, an act of war, in an attempt to manipulate the currency exchange rate which is undoubtedly included in those contracts.
1
The war in Ukraine is a direct result of NATO, UN and US policy. Accept your own responsibility in creating the problem.
1
@mariohanadererste9676 There is a definite propaganda war going on right now. Western nations and media are demonizing Russia for its current war when the west is a much worse offender, starting wars around the world. I don't need to justify the Russia war, it is already justified and my and your opinion of it is irrelevant.
1
Every nation should be terrified of NGOs, any of them, they operate outside the law, they have shady funding and are used to implement policies that have no clear source. If you want rebellious revolutions fomented in your nation then by all means allow the NGOs room to operate.
1
This is a standard US CIA/DIA operation, they fund rebels and insurgents in an effort destabilize the nation to encourage regime change. The exact same thing they did in many countries before including Ukraine in 2014.
1
@thecuttingsark5094 That is exactly what the Russians have been proposing for years but that ends NATOs war mongering ability so they refuse to allow it to happen.
1
@thecuttingsark5094 Prove me wrong instead of making empty claims of nonsense. Your obvious idiocy is on display.
1
Because starting this war was a strategic move by the USA to take on Russia in a proxy war.
1
It is another false flag, almost every independent perspective called it a false flag instantly. The US really needs to learn that the world is on to the false flag game. Nobody believes it anymore.
1
This is what really happened: The Russians were watching the faciliteis waiting for this type of event, they saw the nationalists attacking the chemical plant, killed them all and stop the attack, specifically calling out the wests attempt to kill many civilians and blame it on the Russians. In other words western intelligence (CIA, MI6, MOSAD etc) just got caught red handed trying to create a false flag event.
1
The war crimes courts and tribunals have already been compromised by western intelligence agencies, there can be no truly independent war crime investigation because the investigative agencies are all owned/controlled/blackmailed by western intelligence agencies.
1
@David Moore NATO soldiers died at forward bases deployed inside Ukraine, that is NATO starting this war by being on the ground in Ukraine. it is 100% NATOs fault, pushing their BS war campaign to the doorstep of the Russians. You can tell everyone they are wrong, in the end the Russians aren't listening anymore.
1
@Niatnuom_Esiotrot The US realized its stupidity and dropped the fertilizer sanction but its probably too late.
1
@-Davit- You mean no gas = no Euros, no gas = no dollars which means lots more Yuan and Rupees.
1
How blind and stupid can this mayor be, missiles hit foreign weapons and weapons caches and you want to bring more weapons into the city ? Making the city a bigger target for Russia ?
1
@kellyfairholm They have declared independence from Ukraine just like Ukraine declared independence from Russia, how is it any differnt ?
1
@paulos9304 So Ukraine demanding that its sovereignty be respected is the only peoples that matter ? How is Crimean or Donbas independence any different that Ukrainian ? Seems highly hypocritical to suggest liberty and respect is okay for one group of people but not another !
1
@bowtye8107 deluded ignorant war mongering is so dull.
1
@paulos9304 yeah and NATO said they wouldn't expand one inch to the east, lies and broken promises are part of international politics.
1
I would say that the US knows very well whats going on, their propaganda mechanism doesn't care about truth only about the perception of truth.
