  2.  @kilijanek  I read this also along with Germany, Britain, Russia, France (Maginot North extension) etc. etc. Seemingly all combating nations were mid way through a rearmament plan of one sort or other and not only that I note the facts or expectations differ widely dependent upon the historian whose tome ones reading. I feel occasionally one can almost claim the wildest tale with some documentary evidence which at least aids these comment sections.... 😊
