Even sarcasm doesn t excuse throttling a suspect in broad daylight whist he obviously offered no threat whatsoever.

@williamroyer4669 Goes without saying, how on God's green earth has this man who evidently killed another worked for your NYPDs finest for FIVE entire years after everyone online/earth has witnessed his unnecessary and ultimately life losing actions? Shame on NYPD

Mike Hill .... I'm not being sarcastic or suchlike but process is defined as an inevitable machine like action and these formally dressed bullies had ample opportunity to decide what action to take. The world saw that choice and "process" perhaps would have been him in a cage facing charges however his laying dead on the pavement is far from anyone's notion of "process" . Respectfully.

Sad you are even required to make such a comment because anyone who's viewed the footage cannot excuse them jumping upon a man who was unarmed, immobile, no threat and simply protesting innocence. From here in Cambridge U.K. it looks exactly what it is, strangulation. Best Wishes to his surviving relations and friends, just so unnecessary!

Mike Hill Hey it's all good and us "normal " folks get what you're saying. Have a safe week my friend.

Just loss of employment v's loss of a man's life! Appalling and anyone viewing that footage can only see a man/men strangle another . "NYPDs finest" ? At least good riddance and from my England standpoint it is sickening that it's taken FIVE years and a mere firing of this bully. Best Wishes to the family involved.

It's just about everything that you, our American cousins, claim daily about being the finest, most progressive, upholding law and so on, but clearly shown as hypocritical and of course we are human and simply of our contradictions however allowing this thug to "work" for 5 years post throttling a citizen is hardly great news for your wonderful city and it's faith in law.

I hear you however there are far less aggressive actions than throttling and obviously they chose not to hear him pleading. He didn't run, he was effectively penned in so where were the blue hat's and black maria to escort him? We all saw men attack another and it was so unnecessary it killed him. If you condone this then I'm worried, with respect of course. Dave Cambridge U.K.

@rudai123 I understand that and I bow to your higher knowledge however again I ask why even jump this man let alone ignore his please for air? He was going nowhere. Your police routinely are armed so perhaps leading him into a van ( not there?) whilst having a barrage of uniformed police (again absent?) to avoid such an evidently deathly tangle with this big man?

Mike Hill Really? I live in the land that have birth to your "due process" and I now wonder to whom the process is due to next as it is evidently governened by finance and status in your skewed idea.
