@wayinfront1 Why deflect to England, the facts are clear that over there was a torrent of goods landing at myriad ports by the hour, hell we even laid on 1ks of sorties for Holland to prevent starvation just before VE day, does anyone seriously claim that starvation and lack of shelter was necessary after spring '45?

@dellawrence4323 As has been stated in this thread, I am talking about the starvation of humans and not the orderly distribution of rationing which our grandparents endured, I'm glad to say they were not harmed by this policy and may have been gifted by the use of whatever was available to them and making it last, that's far away from the reports of Germans suffering needlessly in open fields I'm sure you'll appreciate...

@melgibson3928 indeed yes and heartening to have at least one alternative source of information to at the very least keep a window of dialogue and debate open. We all seem to agree that history is continually revised and updated yet some aspects appear to be off limits.
