Frankly I am astonished yet delighted to actually get hold of German contemporaries not only analysing the "good war" but daring to question eternally established historiography which, for any gentle scholar, has in reality been repeatedly and fully denounced. As anyone who's travelled and befriended any of these wonderful folks, whom our forefathers were ordered to hate and kill, will understand us both. I personally am only able to hate one matter and that is dishonestly taking advantage of fellows, effectively abusing them/us as their tools. The more history we reveal it's crystal clear who the morons in such wars were.

  31. I confess to never laying eyes upon this craft in my 50 years of living! Where has this been hiding itself all this time? Seriously though I've not seen any in all the hours of documentaries nor the doubled books I've read regarding WW2 and I feel like one who was left in Pompey whilst the Heroes headed for Normandy...   38. Ultimately down to the geo politics of the time. We hadn't dogged Russia for years as we had Germany as Russia wasn't stealing land to the extent Germany was. Plus Russia was far far away, further than even Czechoslovakia was deemed to be. So having ignored further red lines Uncle Adolf still lied and invaded Poland. Also it wasn't for a while that Russia ignited thier side of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, the part held back from the greater planet.

Brilliant channel and naturally your niche is that you being native German and a military scholar however I must say your presentation and evidently clear grasp of this period and it's myriad mysteries are a breath of fresh air. I am 50years old and as we know WW2 has a cultural stranglehold on us Englishmen, , from building toy model aeroplanes and battle play with plastic soldiers to our reading material so again I must praise you for your time and helpful uploads.
