  8. Impressive indeed and took a couple of decades to construct, incredible tunnel. Our grandfather worked on the Old Birkenhead!/Liverpool Tunnel under the River Mersey in the 1930s. Called the Queensway Tunnel and still in operation today. 👍 🇺🇸🇬🇧

I found that same phenomenon over here in England, Liverpool for example Anglican cathedral by Giles-Scott who was responsible for many other buildings both in Liverpool and London, incidentally he also designed some of our finest old Football stadia, I believe only Everton is remaining but also Spurs and Glasgow Rangers previous stadiums. Fascinating to finally look upwards as I get older and take the time to wonder at my world 🤔😘 Best wishes 🙏

As an English man it's heartwarming to see how your New World evolved precisely as it did over the pond here albeit on a larger scale, I also admire your passion for what you have achieved in such a small amount of time so please recall this when you feel the need to denounce any of our nations policies or decisions over the last 1k years as we all surely see that times change fast but we generally have the common good in mind.   35. At least our American cousins had a blank canvas, we here in England have evolved from pilgrims paths and roman roads through horse tracks and the results are a bewildering array of one ways and so on. 🙏

  39. Yes it's so sad, here in England we Grade our older buildings from 1/3 and fortunately this does stop any destruction, hell even dilapidated farm buildings have been saved because they house nesting barn owls 🦉 in their smashed up rafters 😊🙏

  41. Same thing here in England with our football clubs pricing out all but the rich local support which made them what they are today. Liverpool/Anfield is now full of Asians, Irish and Norwegians whilst we're resigned to watching it in the alehouse. The bastion of partisan fervour we used to give them has been killed off for *business *money and foreigners with no idea what being Scouse is. Best wishes my American cousin. 🙏🇺🇸⚽⚾🇬🇧☘️
