Raced thawing of Thwaites and Denmans glaciers is dangerous by itself, lots of people live in areas whose economy will be destroyed by a mere half a metre sea level rise, but these glaciers are 'pilot fishes' of other events that will come along. You better move uphill: to take a safety margin the way engineers and architects do, I'd abandon all new civil engineering projects below 110 m above current sea level, in areas susceptible of flooding, and you can't imagine how many of it are.
