  1. Aircraft Engines in WW II had Water Injection in combustion chambers to reduce head temperatures in extreme situations, and avoid the head and piston melting. But this did in fact increase wear, induce corrosion

  2. Content of Energy per weight ist higher in Gasoline than in Ethanol, higher in Ethanol than in the deadly Methanol, higher in Propanol than in Ethanol, usw. Ist there any advantage in going over 10 % Ethanol in Gasoline? I'd say no, same as for Water Emulsions in heavy fuels, the benefits conclude with 2% Water in Diesel.
