Not in the context of a riot. The fact is the sentencing was super effective, everybody now knows do not confuse racist incitement to violence with "protest".

@kerrell95 60% of those polled thought a one year sentence for charging at a police officer was not enough. 44% said a one year and 8 months for a racist social media post was not long enough

@kerrell95 People view or some people view? Can you give me a source to back the claim that there is widespread concern with this particular sentence? I mean widespread as in more than 50% of the UK population

@kerrell95 So far I've found a yougov poll from where only 16% polled thought the sentences were too harsh. Mostly reform voters. No surprise there. Half the country said the sentencing was about right and 27% said not harsh enough. Any updates on that?

@Individual_Lives_Matter Yeah, 70% of the country by the looks of it. So only the minority think the justice system isn't working. That minority just so happens to be the ones who go out rioting and / or have some degree of bigoted views.
