  1. Belarus has got more post-soviet equipement than trained soldiers, hence the transfer. Possibility ground of attack from the territory of Belarus is absurd from military point of view, as the attack on Kiev from the north was. The border between Ukraine and Belarus is demarked by the Pripet swamps, full scale invasion with heavy equipement is impossible in that direction.
