200 tanks, 200 artillery systems and 1600 armoured vehicles is definetly a lot, especially because it has one huge advantage over russian equipment for the new mobilized soldiers- it is fully operational, "both drives and shoots". It can equip (or cover the losses for) up to 4 mechanized brigades and what seems to be missing the most are not tanks, but more self- propelled artillery (in any type, not necessarily heavy 155 mm)

@mam0lechinookclan607 Germans don't have to sell their own tanks to Ukraine if they are so afraid, but to hold back other countries (like Spain or Poland) in current situation is clearly irrational.

Outstanding move from the French though. Give something that only looks like a tank and put a finger of blame on Germany (whose military support greatly exceeds that of French), when its 400 Leclercs are safely hidden from discussion

It is only excuse for naive public. Abrams would certainly do excellent in Ukraine. What Americans are afraid of is that if the tank had fall into enemy's hand it would potentially reveal its secret to enemies. In previous conflicts Americans were always careful to destroy it's own tanks lost on the territory controlled by enemy. The same logic could be for Germans and leopards- but Turkey have lost already plenty of Leopards2A4 in Syria

@ngc_2419 254 in active service, rest in the reserve; Leopard 2A4 is of course much older and weaker which makes it a better option from the whole NATO point of view to give.

@franknwogu4911 USA had casus beli since 2014, when Putin invaded Ukraine for the first time. And did virtually nothing back then, encouraging him to move forwards.

@Fuhrerjehova I don't know, do I ? That is the thing about secrets- public don't have access to them

Quick answer is no. Outcome when Russia will get any Ukrainian territory and won't pay the reparations is a weakening of world's security system. It would be a precedent, where nuclear capable country can make gains (in 19th century imperialistic logic) from offensive war. That would led to many more wars around the world and to proliferation of nuclear weapons

@GeNN18192 if Russians could mobilize 3 million men they would. But they can't do this now, their training and supply capacity is being used to the fullest extent, including Belarusian resources in this matter. It is possible that they will have 3 million army in a year if we fail to help Ukraine as much as we can to break this logic of the war of attrition where larger has to win.

European NATO countries have over 2 million contract soldiers, USA is another 2 million. You can stare. And cry

@kaczynski2333 US currently have around 70 thousand soldiers in Europe, and there is no war with NATO so answer your question yourself. But what is more important is aviation + highly trained pilots which Russia don't have what has been demonstrated in Ukraine. In the event of conventional war with NATO Russian army will be incapacitated in few days and numbers of cannon fodder is irrelevant. Air superiority Is like himars effect* 100

@kaczynski2333 I see that again I have made a mistake to converse with a Vatnick. Talk to the ass and it will shit on you...

@nian60 They could just ask their KGB officer, they have it all counted to the last nut

That threat was never an reliable one. Firstly if you listen closer, Polish politicians never directly formulated it. On the contrary- they were saying that key issue is to encourage Germany to give their tanks, if that won't happen then they will build "a smaller coalition" and " behave rightly" so no one is saying about sending leopards alone or doing it with breach of contract. Then there is Polish law, politician who acts to the detriment of state ( and paying huge contract punishments and losing credibility for the third party) is subject to criminal responsibility

You convinced us that the moment is critical. We'll send more arms to barbarically assaulted Ukraine. Thanks russian bot.
