Rome may have won, but I'm still on Greece side and always will be.
12
Well, I'm glad someone remembers Monster Musume. I was afraid that because it's taking forever for new mangas and season 2 to come out, everyone might've forgotten it by now.
12
I enjoyed "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" too. It was like true magic to have cartoons and live action come together. I wish they still made movies like that today. I even wish they made more Roger Rabbit shorts, three was just not enough.
12
It was kind of funny seeing that baby getting dangerously powerful every time she sneezed. Reminded me of that girl named launch from the anime Dragonball.
12
I found the villains in the 1984 Dune to have more of the villain appearance, especially with Sting. One thing that disappointed me was that the sound weapons were never in the story books. Too bad for that, those were some cool weapons.
11
Should've added Mortal Kombat 1995, and Inspector Gadget 1999 to this list.
11
Should've added Inuyasha, Pokemon, Naruto, and Yu Gi Oh to this list.
11
Should've added Clannad to this list.
11
I remember Inuyasha too, very good anime.
11
I've heard that years ago, Don Bluth planned to make a 2D animated version of Cats, but was cancelled. If only it wasn't, then it might've been more successful than the live action one.
11
I agree.
11
Should've added Little Shop of Horrors, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and Dracula: Dead and Loving it to this list.
11
I'd like to see Ghidorah and Destroyah battle over who is Godzilla's top rival.
11
Agreed.
11
I for one found the ending confusing myself.
11
Reminds me of the episode in the Simpsons, where Marge tried to get rid of Itchy and Scratchy, because Maggie tried to kill Homer. And the South Park movie, where Kyle's mom tried to kill Terrance and Phillip, just so she could try to make the world a safer place for children.
10
I'm surprised Naruto did not make this list.
10
Amen.
10
Marty McFly and/or Dr. Emmett Brown from Back to the Future.
10
Agreed. I bet not even a reboot of Jaws can beat the original.
10
So am I. But when I got older, the show got bad and gross to watch, especially the Adult Party Cartoon. Should've been more careful on what I watched.
10
Should've added some of the side guests in the Kingdom Hearts trilogy to this list.
10
I could never beat my first ogre battle in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, so I would not know how hard the final boss is. But I can only guess that trying to defeat him would be painfully frustrating and stressful.
10
Yes, it's nice to see that there were different kinds of dragons, and they all did not look alike.
10
When I saw King Ghidorah's head in the end credits, I thought we were going to see Mecha-King Ghidorah. But using it as a machine to control Mecha-Godzilla, well that was different and a little confusing.
10
AAAHH!!! Real Monsters was such a good show in the good old days. How can anyone not recognize them? I even recognized them in the Rugrats episode "Ghost Story." Wishbone was a really good show that helped kids get into reading, almost as good as Reading Rainbow. Some of my favorite episodes were the ones that told the story of David and Goliath, and the Legend of Sleepy Hallow.
10
I was shocked that Sasha ended up dying too. She was such a fun character.
10
If we all just learn to be more careful on how we eat candy, maybe they would bring Hershey's Bites back.
10
When I first saw how the pros played Cuphead and Sekiro and how easily they beat the bosses, I thought these games would be as easy as pie to beat, I was wrong.
10
The blue pill or red pill decision reminded me of on struggle I might have if I ever enter the afterlife. I take the blue pill, I enter the afterlife and reunite with my dead family members. I take the red pill, I choose to be reborn and start a new life and adventure on earth. Agonizing decision too, isn't it?
10
Not to mention, they stopped doing 2D hand-drawn animation, which in my opinion is the true magic of Disney.
9
Should've added to the list the series ending of "Mobil Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans," where the good guys lose and the villains win.
9
Scar makes me think of Kratos from God of War.
9
It's times like this, I wish I was young again. And stay young.
9
I still enjoyed Bram Stoker's Dracula, I even found it better than Dracula Untold.
9
I'm 40 and I still watch animated shows and movies because they make me feel like I get my youth back, and escape reality.
9
Titan AE may not have been a perfect movie, but it was still made by Don Bluth, a legendary 2D hand drawn animator. And let me tell you, I would rather have his 2D animation around today than all the 3D and live action remakes we get now.
9
Rome may have won the military round, but Greece still had cool warriors and battle history of their very own. Like the 300 Spartans and Alexander the Great.
9
I saw a preview of an upcoming prequel movie of Willy Wonka, called "Wonka." Let's hope it will be as good as the 1971 classic.
9
When I visited Ireland years ago, I learned about another ship that was sunk by a torpedo in World War 1, called the RMS Lusitania. I heard that one of Captain Samuel Black Sam Bellamy's treasures was a ruby the size of a hen's egg, and is still lost at sea to this day.
9
If you think the Japanese Spider Crab is big, you should see the Alaskan King Crab, and taste it too. I'm glad there are people who are dealing with the Giant Hornets, before things get worse. That Barreleye Fish was creepy, I never even heard about it before.
8
I for one actually like live action and cartoon crossovers. My favorites were Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Space Jam. The only live action and cartoon crossover that should've and should really be banned everywhere in the world would be the Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers movie of Disney+. That movie was crude, insulting, gross, and maybe even R or X rated at some scenes. The part that grosses me out the most was Gadget and Zipper getting married and having kids.🤮
8
T-Rex number 1, why am I not surprised?
8
Fiery rocks at a place called Mount Chimera, if only I could afford to travel around the world, Greece would be one of my stops.
8
I was surprised that Frollo became number 1. But seeing his characterization, I guess you don't have to be a monster or something supernatural to be scary. I mean, this guy knew he was falling in love and he did not want it, because he felt he was betraying the devils, which was why he wanted to burn Esmeralda. And I bet he was glad she refused him, because he wanted to be rid of her and the feeling of love.
8
When I first watched Rurouni Kenshin, I thought Kenshin was weird because he acted all goofy and not serious like Samurai Jack. But after learning about his tragic past, I can now see why he would prefer being goofy and not serious.
8
Me too.
8
I'm surprised that Bright Burn was not added to this list.
8
Agreed.
8
I just thought of an interesting horror movie idea. What if they took Sam and Krampus, and had them do a crossover battle, just like they did with Freddy vs. Jason. Halloween vs. Christmas, two demon holiday enforcers battling to see which holiday should be respected the most. Just a thought.
