  1. I never did like the American Godzilla, no Godzilla from other countries can ever beat the good old Japanese one. I think the reason water killed the witch was because the magic she learned was dark and had side-effects like being so burned up with dark magic, if you get drenched in water, you'll melt. Nuclear Man must've gotten the weakness from Superman's DNA. Solar energy makes superman stronger, so without it, Nuclear Man could not get stronger than Superman. Also, Lex Luthor must've wanted a turn off switch in case he lost control of Nuclear Man. I never got that ending of War of the Worlds, but I think it was trying to tell us that if we go somewhere else, we must be careful of the disease that effect us but not others or visa versa, just like what happened to the Indians when the Americans came and brought small pox.
