I'm 40 and I still watch animated shows and movies because they make me feel like I get my youth back, and escape reality.

@96miffy You Mean the food the parents ate before turning into pigs? Yeah, all that food looked good. I wonder if that kind of Japanese food is real and what each of there names are. Like that whole chicken the mother ate and that big dumpling the father stuffed in his mouth.

@utisti4976 I agree, especially with all the live remakes we've been getting.

If Don Bluth was still in business, his movies could touch both the heart and soul.

Me too, especially the 2D animated ones. If only there was a way for Disney to bring them back.
2
That's true. The same should go for some of Don Bluth's movies.

I never thought there would be a sequel to it, but there actually is a small one in the comics, and it goes very well with the movie.
2
@PresbianTier That's right, as people like Genndy Tartakovsky are trying to prove.
2
Yes, especially the 2D animated ones.

@tntexplodes808 I agree.

True.

Yes, Don Bluth made some wonderful movies too. If only his business did not go down the drain, then we would still have his 2D animated movies around today. Not to mention, more 2D animated arcade games to play.

@mojo3318 That's right, Dragon's Lair 1 and 2, and Space Ace. They were 2D animated arcade games you could play. Don Bluth had another plan for a game called The Sea Beast and Barnacle Bill, but it was cancelled.

@mojo3318 The reboot might be a 3D or live action movie, which I know everyone will hate, because turning beloved 2D animated movies into either 3D or live action is just insulting and wrong.
1
@hokutology1718 Grave of the Fireflies was not really a good movie to watch either.
1
Oh, you don't know what you're missing.

If only other 2D animated movies could win an award, and not always Disney.

Shrek, the Nightmare Before Christmas, Wall-E, Fantasia, and Toy Story are all good movies, but I'm glad Spirited Away is #1.
