But as for race swapping, even though the live action Ariel was of different color, they couldn't say no to her for playing the part, otherwise we'd be doing the same thing we did in the past with the whites only signs and we'd be facing color chaos all over again. We already have enough of it, after that murder of a black from a police man. As much as we don't like changing the looks of beloved characters, we can't risk anymore troubles with living in peace and getting along with one another. This is just how live is. (Sigh) It's times like this I miss 2D animation, where things were easier and did not cause so much trouble.
