  1. Yes, that scene made me learn the truth about the reality of life and how short and sad it can be. But I still enjoyed the movie very much, and it would be great if Don Bluth was able to make one last animated movie, before he leaves this world.

  2. I feel the same way, I was born in 1983 at I got to experience the magic and joy of 2D hand drawn animation before it sadly disappeared. One type of 2D animation I miss the most is the animation that was made by legendary Don Bluth.

  6. My favorites are Whisper of the Heart, Ponyo, the Secret World of Arrietty, and From Up on Poppy Hill. But Spirited Away will always be my number 1 favorite. I hope the upcoming movie the Boy and the Heron will be good enough to be a new member of my favorite Ghibli film list.
