  1. The bear story is maybe not so harmless. The bear is a so-called collared bear and they are terribly tortured and mutilated as a lifelong deliverer of chinese medicine, hooked up to a drip system to collect bile. Maybe no malintentions of the owner, but there is an ongoing horrific industry in China, based on animal abuse. How this lady acquired the bear was not clear to me.

  2. Will the Russians consider NATO a reliable partner to discuss? The leader in NATO is the USA, they will have no credibility. So, who is the credible partner from the west? France, Germany and Ykraine have been negotiating for war during the Minsk "peace" agreement. They will certainly not be credible anymore. Ultimately, it is not about NATO, it is about the USA and UK, both without any credibility. What sort of guarantees can Russia expect from unreliable western countries?
