The historic context of WW II Japanese-Russian may even be more complicated. It was the Americans that had multiple time asked Russia to open a front against Japan. Although Stalin was reluctant, they would do so in August 1945. The Americans, however, wanted to test their new weapon and the bombs had to be thrown before Russia would open the front seriously. Hence, the American war crimes against the Japanese people. Is Japan not occupied by the Americans until today? All I said above is recollected from memory. I am not a scholar on this topic.

Let's forget all the wrongs of the past. In exchange: discard all the desires to demonize and destroy others. The richness of the globe do not need to be stolen from each other. They can be shared.

@Zerpentsa6598 I have no national interests. Global mankind has to come together and solve what we can foresee for the future. Every western (and a few non-western as well) country has been involved in "using their neighbours driveway" for a while or even permanently. Like the original role of the United Nations, which has been either hijacked by the USA or made irrelevant by the USA.

@prettyorangesea Many humans still have a lot of work to do on their personal behavior. We are very human and lying, cheeting, killing is part of it, or how I call it: "humans are living at the expense of other humans".
