The term "civilized" distinguishes some people from "uncivilized" people. It is a racist term to elevate "some" with respect to "other". It justifies whatever conduct of "some" against "other". All peoples conguered and destroyed were uncivilized, so we make ourselves believe. The other effect is that "power" can grow through the demand and payment for more "police officers".

@escaped1534 Western society will become more stratified with "sufficiently rich / powerful" people and those that don't qualify to be in that group. "Racism" will also become "social racism", if it is not already including that. You notice it from the disdain with which ordinary citizens are treated by the "sufficiently rich / powerful". They are off the same race but not of the same "social race". Democracy as an idea has so much eroded that it is practically non-existent. But, self-delusion keeps up the pretense.
