  1. Wonderful that this train didn't reach its nazi destination. Liberating people from a non-guarded train, however, cannot be compared with what Schindler managed to do under occupation, with all the risks for his own life and that of his helpers. The Americans did the human thing, that is to help people in need. There is nothing especially American about it.
