  1. Dear Dr. Campbell, The nuclear power plant at Zaporizhiya has been under Russian control since March 2022. The Ykrainian army at the other (North) side of the reservoir on the Dnepr river have recently started shelling the plant. Reasons unknown. Just a guess, since the Ykrainians are losing the war, they make another desperate attempt to get NATO boots on the ground, by creating an emergency situation of some sorts. In order to blame it on the Russians, they have come with the argument that the Russians are shelling them from the plant. Since Russia operates it artillery very succesfully on a 500 km frontline, they do not need the NPP to shell from. In fact the Russians are using the energy of the plant to the benefit of the Ykrainian people living mostly south of the lake in Russian occupied territory. Since these people are by Kyiv not considered Ykrainians but Russians, it is much to the chagrin of Zelensky et. al. to see this. Maybe this is another reason why Ykrainians shell the NPP. EU politicians know this, because we are very experienced in intelligence, however, the EU politicians decided to chose the "wrong" side, a decision which was taken way before the 24th of feb 2022. By the way, do not worry about fatigue with the NPP crew. The plant was built in the era of the Soviet Union. Knowledge abounds in Russia and Ykraine and the city around the plant is the residential area for all the contingents of workers to work the plant 24/7. Since 60% of the Ykrainian population speaks Russian, and many do not speak Ykrainian!, there is no reason for miscommunications, due to language differences.
