  1. The "media" are companies owned by the elite. Just a few people own the western media. The media have completely abandoned journalism and are a special interest group. The media have a "hand in glove" relation with other companies, where wealth and power have concentrated (Big energy, Big tech, Weapon manufacturers, Pharma). Politicians delude the electorate before election and are disengaged from their political ideas after the election.
