  2. Because the European feel fake embarrassed that they tried to wipe out jewish people in WWII? Don't believe it was just the Germans. Ukraine contributed, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Hungary. UK and USA closed their borders for jewish refugees fleeing from continental Europe.
