The Dutch barbarism has, unfortunately, not been mentioned by our king or our PM. Apologies are very cheap. As a first step, it is important, but a solid description of the micro-culture of slavery is essential. NL competes with the Belgians under Leopold II for most barbaric country. The religions, reformed or Christian, also played along. Slavery did absolutely not conflicht with "the believes".

@joel6427 Humans should not enslave other humans. This is where it starts, if ever, slavery will be eradicated from our societies. "Slavery" is not compatible with "freedom", "autonomy", "responsibility" or "democracy".

@Cedawood "all should agree", but it is very attractive for people to live at the expense of other people. People should not want to live at the expense of other people.
