Originally with the pretense to make life better for everybody, but that made it sound too much like socialism. Nazism is a form of left-wing capitalism and wants to grow by winning at the expense of others. All these terms are also just terms that you can use in a political debate to destroy your opponent for a poorly-educated crowd, grown up in believe systems.
