  2. I agree with your assessment. EU has allowed itself to be used by the USA fascist "deep state" and in that process it has betrayed human values on which it prides itself so much, and in that process they showed their real face. Even if it is only the real face of "our" leaders, it shines poorly on the civil population. I am afraid that it is, however, not just the European leaders. A significant fraction of the population is not able to do independent thinking. They tend to be religious thinkers, following the faith of the leaders.
