USAID will be reorganized and rebranded such that it costs less, but as a tool of USA power in the world and in all governments, democratic or not, US influence will remain and, where possible, improved. Do not cheer too early. It is nice to see how the clock has been ticking, but the clock will keep ticking, as it serves US global power.
