On your comment, that there is no leadership of the USA: The intended side effect of the USA instigated war in Ykraine was to involve the EU leadership to start this storm of Russia hate in the areas of economy, culture, sportsevents, military, etc. One of the purposes of the USA was to destroy EU (read German) economy along the way to eradicate them as a competition for the USA.
