  2.  @madammadonna  Just be careful. USA helped Afghanistan, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Libya, Yemen, Irak, Syria, Iran in 1954, to name a few. American corporations reap the benefits of > 17 Million hectares of Ykrainian soil, A few hundred thousand Ykrainians have died during last year fighting an American proxy war. All Ykrainian gold is in the USA/UK. The leadership of Ykraine are all billionaires with foreign accounts. They live in one of their many mansions abroad. The Ykrainian people are absolutely not helped by the USA or Europe.

You can win as a result of 1) diplomatic pressure, 2) economic might, 3) political pressure and coups, 4) by training an extreme part of the population and embedding them in NATO, 5) by military force. The USA did the first 4 things over 15 years or more. Russia uses the fifth for one year, after 15 years of provocations. The USA is 98% responsible for the destruction of Ykraine. USA, the grim reaper, benefits the most from the war.

  8. I am always amazed when a scholar is so one-sided. How can you call yourself a scholar, if you ignore imperialist America, that uses NATO and EU, to politically control Ykraine. Does Mrs. Applebaum really think there was no role for the USA and UK in this conflict?

  9. A very informative and decent conversation. The Netherlands is industrializing our biggest nature reserve, the North sea, for "green" energy. Western countries engage one-sided views. I very much like the call for consistency, logic, combined thinking and conversation.

  10. Is this an act of war of Ukraine against Hungary and Slovakia? Ukraine is bankrupted by its proxywar. Hungary and Slovakia will soon be able to just buy up the transport line. Will Ukraine be compensated by somebody for the loss of income? Could it be that the EU and the USA are scheming this? I would not be surprised.

  12. When will Germany liberate itself from the occupation by the Americans? When will Germany and the rest of Europe become independent? Why does Germany not call out the perpetrators of the destruction of Nordstream? Why does Germany want to contribute to operation Barbarossa II? Still the same dreams? Europe needs independence and sovereignty. Isn't the USA the enemy? Why is Europe racist, even if it is a historical tradition?

  13. I understand this lady must be careful, but she is WRONG! USA wanted this war and used NATO, EU and the blood of Ukraine for this. It sounds to me that also this lady wants to continue the war. Ukraine will get what their leaders want from them.

  15. NATO democracies wanted to pretend that they didn't see it coming after "bad faith" negotians around 2014. They will do just enough, to bleed Ykraine and Russia.

  16. Change "greatly improving NATO's ability to respond to a direct Russian confrontation in the future" in "greatly improving NATO's ability to attack Russia and colonize it". Poor Ykrainians to be used by NATO.
