  2. What a great conversation with this eloquent guest. I have a life-long infatuation with the native people or indigenous nations. I have never believed that the USA was the "land of the free", after freedom was conquered and stopped to be.

  3. What is that "a normal life". The people were living very normal lives. That was NOT allowed by the European Americans. Of course native people can be successfull in any society. The reservations + administrations were set apart to solve an issue for the Christian Americans, not for the native people. They had nothing to say about their fate, but instead were driven there at gunpoint. Of course, he will never go back to a "concentration camp" where you have nothing to say over your own life.

  4. The USA never feels obliged by a treaty. To the USA, a treaty is a tool to get what you want. The people were robbed in so many different ways. It is staggering. By war perpetrated by the USA, by ethnic cleansing operations, by judicial manipulations, such as the land allotment act of 1887, etc., by slavery (for hundreds of years by the Spaniards), by racism/dehumanization (since the Pilgrim fathers), by group punishment, by denying to speak in court, by administrative manipulations, e.g. through the bureau of "Indian" affairs, by tweeking the law against the people, by being killed on sight by Christian Americans, etc. etc. Maybe the life of black people in the USA was very dire, it was almost "heaven" compared to what befell to the people.

  5. Why all the guessing on technical details? Bring in the experts or the guys, who were actually there. Why is there a controversy? Can't we just be honest and unbiased about it. Who cares, who "wins". The prove is on the moon. If that proof is not on the moon, people have not been there.

  6. Everybody with a brain can understand that a few thousand miles of steel and concrete border will not be helping the environment and natural life. It says something about a society if it has to imprison itself to protect its stolen property. USA: Crack down on American drug pusher families and companies that kill most of the Americans on an annual basis.

  7. The German scientists brought to the USA after WWII were given a new life where they were allowed to completely ignore their past, to pretend the past had never happened. The Americans socially baptized them. They were purged, cleansed. They were turned into decent American citizens.

  8. What to do? I can name a few: the USA could start by honoring the treaties that they broke and return the land to the original inhabitants. Then, freedom of religion, freedom from federal, state or local authorities , freedom of organizing as a sovereign tribe, freedom of native speech, write a factually correct history about what has happened, equality for the law, recognize native people law, etc, etc.
